Pitter, Patter, Drip,
The rain drop hit my lip.
Pitter, Patter, Pop,
Will it ever stop?

Each is cold and small,
growing faster with each one that falls.
More and more come tumbling down,
increasing in size, and what a sound!

Pitter, Patter, Splash,
Another lightening flash.
Pitter, Patter, More,
Surely our dams will all store.

The rain is falling harder,
flowing in streams up further.
Life giving rain as such,
our gardens of it need much.

Pitter, Patter, Splish,
Just as wet as a fish.
Pitter, Patter here
and Pitter, Patter there.
